Player Profile:
Jeffery Armstrong
Doyle student, Jeffery Armstrong, attended a Doyle Baseball Winter Session last December and learned a lot in just 3 days. This past spring he developed into his team's ace pitcher. He won many games throughout the season and all 3 of the games he started in the playoffs including the Championship Game (Glenmoore Eagle Youth Association U10 - suburb of Philadelphia, PA). Two of the wins in the playoffs were against a team that was previously unbeaten which he had not previously started against.
Jeffery also connects baseball with his Christianity. He has the following verses written in his cap and looks at them prior to pitching:
Philippians 4:13
"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength".
Luke 1:37
"For nothing is impossible with God".
