We are a division of Davidson's Jewelry and Augur's Books, located at 73 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY.
Davidson's Jewelry is a small family owned business that began in 1984 on Grove Street in Cooperstown. In 1998 we purchased the Augur's Bookstore business and moved into their location at 73 Main Street. Augur's Bookstore is one of America's oldest bookstores. It has been in this same location since 1899.
This emporium combines a full-service jewelry department and a bookstore in one pleasant experience. Our book section is the perfect place to find summer reading, classic literature, children's books, baseball books, and local books. The jewelry department features gold and diamond jewelry, watches, pearls, silver, estate, baseball jewelry, engraving, repairs, and beautiful jewelry made by our jewelers. The gift selection includes note cards for all occasions, Crane and Caspari stationary, Victorinox Swiss Army Knives, Seth Thomas clocks, hand painted porcelain ornaments and much more.
